Drs Verona Botha and Ammar Binsadiq have joined Associate Professor James McKelvie at his Waikato-based clinic Eye Surgeons, to accommodate growing demand from population growth and shifting demographics.
Welcoming the new doctors, A/Prof McKelvie said the addition of Drs Botha and Binsadiq represents a significant step for Eye Surgeons. “We are constantly striving to enhance the level of care we provide. By welcoming these new specialists with expertise in oculoplastic and retinal surgery, respectively, we're able to offer a more comprehensive range of treatments and stay at the forefront of advancements in eyecare.”
A shared commitment to providing patient-centered care, leveraging advanced technology and fostering a collaborative approach appealed to Dr Botha. “By joining forces, we can offer a comprehensive range of services to patients in the Waikato. As one of the only fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeons in this region, I'm personally committed to providing exceptional specialised care to our patients,” she said.
To improve accessibility, especially for those living in the southern Waikato region, Eye Surgeons now offers clinics in both Hamilton and Cambridge, A/Prof McKelvie said.
