David Harris

Ophthalmic surgical and equipment supplier OphthalmoPro is growing its presence in the New Zealand market with the appointment of a territory manager, David Harris, based in Auckland.

Harris, an experienced ophthalmic technician, joins Wellington-based Tamara Smart in covering both the North and the South Islands.

“Throughout my career [in both laser eye surgery and private hospital settings] I’ve enjoyed roles where I can support others. Joining OphthalmoPro, I’m especially excited by the opportunity to work with clinicians to help them deliver outstanding care and patient experiences,” Harris said.

Outside of work, Harris enjoys hiking to take advantage of the beautiful New Zealand scenery. “I also really enjoy creative outlets, such as photography and art,” he said.

OphthalmoPro, which officially launched its New Zealand branch at last year’s Cornea & Contact Lens Society (CCLS) conference will be exhibiting at the conference this year.
