EssilorLuxottica has started the year with double-digit growth, with Q1 revenue increasing by 10.8% (+4.1% at current exchange rates) for a third consecutive quarter.

Asia-Pacific posted revenue of €874 million (approx. NZ$1.7bn), up 9.8% compared to the first quarter of 2025 (+2.6% at current exchange rates) with both Professional Solutions and Direct to Consumer divisions contributing to the results. China and India reported strong growth, while Australia, South Korea and Japan also made a positive contribution to the region's results.

In Direct to Consumer, comparable-store sales grew by low-single digits. In Australia and New Zealand, OPSM comparable-store sales were flat for the quarter, supported by the lens premiumisation strategy. Nuance Audio continued to build momentum following its launch in the fourth quarter of 2025. In ocular therapies, the rollout of Espansione Group’s dry eye disease treatment instruments continued across the OPSM network. Across the region, sun banners delivered mid-single-digit growth, supported by solid demand for AI glasses.

Another notable Q1 event was the Top Charoen deal, which expanded EssilorLuxottica’s retail footprint into the high-potential market of Thailand, adding around 2,000 stores and bringing the group’s network to nearly 20,000 locations worldwide.
