Locum Optometrist – Christchurch

Anstice Optometrists is seeking a Locum Optometrist to join our well-established independent practice in Christchurch while one of our optometrists is on leave.

 

Your primary role will be to provide continuity of care for our existing adult patient base, performing comprehensive eye examinations and managing general optometry appointments during this period. You will not be expected to see children or conduct more specialised appointments as part of this role. However, this is open for discussion depending on your experience and clinical interests.

 

Anstice is a busy, family-focused independent practice known for delivering exceptional patient care, premium eyewear, and strong clinical standards. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of 15, including 5 optometrists, within a modern, well-equipped practice with an established and loyal patient base.

 

We are looking for someone who is:

• Confident managing adult comprehensive eye examinations
• Warm, professional, and patient-focused
• Availability for locum cover across August, September and October (availability for all months is not required).
